Tie A Knot

Tying a knot is a basic skill that we need when hand sewing.

STEPS

1. Make sure the ends of both threads are about equal.
2. Wind the thread at least once around your finger firmly.
3. “Curl” the threads together with the edge of your thumb until it thickens and released from your finger.
4. Use your third finger to gather the “curled” threads to the edge of the thread until a knot appears.
5. Trim any excess thread.
